Piano Tutoring for School Music Students
School moves fast. Kids can fall behind in a week. At Music School Adelaide, we slow it down, fix the gaps, and build wins. We tutor out of Ingle Farm (near Tea Tree Plaza) and support families from Oakden, Prospect, Mawson Lakes, Modbury, Tea Tree Gully, Burnside, Norwood, Unley, North Adelaide, and the CBD.

Piano Tutoring for School Music Students
Private Tutor Adelaide
Private means focused. No groups. No noise. Your teacher adjusts speed, songs, and practice plans to your child—not the other way around.
What we teach:
-
Technique that feels natural: posture, relaxed hands, tidy fingering.
-
Reading that makes sense: patterns first, then speed.
-
Practice that works: 10–15 minutes, 4–5 days, clear steps.
Song choice:
Kids stay engaged when they like the tune. We blend method-book pieces with songs they know (movie themes, viral hits), then add the right drills.
For adults:
Start slow. Build a clean foundation. We’ll pick music you enjoy—film, pop, worship, classical. No pressure, just steady progress.
For the eastern suburbs:
Burnside and Norwood families often ask for early evening slots—book ahead; they go fast before school terms.
Gear and books
No piano? A weighted digital keyboard works at the start. We’ll advise size (88 keys), action, bench height, and simple pedals.
Tip: If hands tense up, shake them out, breathe, and reset posture. Tension kills tone.
